Cuttlebone casting is an ancient method for casting metals, and this awesome "artifact" pendant was made casting recycled sterling silver. Archeologists are unsure the origin of this incredibly designed object, but it does seem to resonate with many. The striated pattern on the back is a result of the growth pattern in the bone, and makes this reversible!
