These lovely and bright kite drop earrings are lightweight and playful: the perfect bright adornment or sunny accessory! The half bezel / half prong settings delicately hold the amber pieces in place while open backs allow ample light to pass through the translucent stones. These stones were hand cut by an artisan in Mexico - I bought them from his lovely daughter in Washington state (@newstoneagecabochons). I designed these earrings to showcase the skill of the lapidary artist and the clear understanding and care of the rough material. Amber is an incredible stone - it is fossilized tree sap! This is a truly unique set of earrings.
