The ocean tumbles bits of glass into smooth, gorgeous pieces. They are such beautiful records of time and travel - each piece of glass has rolled around in the surf until the edges are worn away. Green and blue pieces are much rarer than the clear and amber glass - this incredible triangle piece of sea glass was collected off of Redondo Beach in Half Moon Bay, California. The winter tides this year have brought some amazing treasures to the shore! This is my favorite thus far - I built this sterling silver setting to perfectly frame the piece, and left the back open so the green glass may be viewed from both sides.
